SEE THE WORLD!

It's been a minute since I last posted a blog. Let's just say I've been travelling... When I was in high school, I took French as a subject; and one of the course books was titled 'Tour Le Monde'. In English, this means 'around the world'. Tour the world in French is therefore 'faire le tour du monde'. This just came to mind by-the-way :) .

I travelled last Friday, coming to school. It was the first time I was travelling this far on my own. I feel so proud of myself for keeping it all together and exercising and unleashing the potential to be a grown-up girly in a big wide world that my heavenly Daddy made.

I intentionally booked a window seat on the website and was ready to defend that spot with my full chest <lol> . Along the journey, seated next to a humble stranger; the trip seemed long and the only way to pass time was to struggle for a comfortable position, and sleep.

I occasionally woke up to scenic views until I finally decided to heed to the open invitation of Father to meet Him in the clouds and the sky. Let me tell you, I saw THINGS! Things I can't quite explain yet with earthly words. But an example is, I saw where the clouds touch the earth.

But what I have to share tonight is a piece I was inspired to write in my conversation of few words with God that day:

Travel, see where the clouds touch the earth. Move around the world and see the snow on the mountains. Walk and behold the majesty of a Creator inexhaustible. Set foot on different soils of the planet, the many horizons to pursue. The stretches of this sphere were made for you and me to see and till; all to your fill. Breathe the air from a thousand highlands; explore the many islands, and as many points of this grand ball we're living in. Don't leave the land of the living before you go where it was written for you to go and your eyes to see. See Him in just but a part of His glory.

This is also a reminder that to achieve all this, Jesus says in John 15,

[4]Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. [5] "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Jesus loves you.

love, Serene Steph,
