CATTLE ON A THOUSAND HILLS.
The next time you feel, think or hear that you're poor, remember that your heavenly Father owns cattle on a thousand hills... not a thousand cattle on a hill!
For every animal of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. - Psalm 50:10
You know what this reminds us? That indeed God owns everything! He is addressing the children of Israel who at the time were offering animal sacrifices to Him. God does not reprove them for this (vs.8), but what God requires of them is a sacrifice of thanksgiving and to pay their vows to the Most High (vs.14).
Acknowledge God for all we have which belongs to Him, and thank Him for all of it. We should always remember that us not having is not because God does not have something to give, and neither is it because He is selfish and withholding.
1. Father gives each according to their ability... - Matthew 25:15.
2. If we can be trusted with a little, we will be trusted with more - Luke 16:10-12; Matthew 25:21.
3. You have not, because you ask not - James 4:2-3.
There are so many tips on the Kingdom purpose of resources. Are you interested in shifting the way you think? Here's a video for you lovelies:
Remember, our home/country is wealthy. As citizens of the Kingdom of heaven through salvation, we have access granted to the King's wealth of resources (Luke 15:31). God desires to get His resources through you for the fulfilment of His Kingdom purpose. Are you willing to be used?
Father Lord, thank You. You are so great and everything about You is great. Please guide us through Your Holy Spirit on how to go about handling Your business. Help us remember and practise Proverbs 4:7 which says, wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. We ask this of You and give thanks for it in Your Son Jesus Christ's name, amen.
Resources are important to talk about and learn, but until next time...
Love, Serene Steph,
