THE END AND THE BEGINNING.
Fresh out of high school with a sensation of relief . I was so happy to be free and at peace. So on one serene Sunday right after church, I took a chilled walk to a classy restaurant in Westlands, Nairobi. To say it was above my level at the time looks like me ordering a blueberry muffin and a pineapple and mint juice at lunch time <haha> . To me it was proof that I have so much potential in me from God. I knew at my core that such a life could also be mine; that's why Ecclesiastes 9:11 says,
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
And I always made it a habit or point to carry a souvenir as a reminder, that is, take-away drinks so I keep the container, custom napkins and most definitely receipts (hey, no judgement here).
I believe it's when I got home that I was fully, after a while of considering, opened up to the idea that I can have a whole page on my instagram dedicated to writing what God places in me throughout life and using some of the aesthetic photos I'm blessed to take, to keep God's children visually pleased as they read.
From the end of one high school season of my life, to the dawn of another, I created my first feed on what was @steph_totheworld, and is now @my_truepoet :
May God bless you, in Jesus name.
love, Serene Steph,

I'm excited to see what God has placed in your heart in it's most purest form.๐ "But,as it is written,'What no eye has seen.nor ear has heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him'-these things God has revealed to us through the spirit;for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God"(1Cor.2:9)❤️❤️
